Q. Do you do other types of artwork
from photos?
A. I am currently developing another website, similar to this
one, offering other types of artwork. Until that site is up and running,
feel free to contact me regarding creation of any other artwork from
photos.
Q. I want several individual
caricatures. Can I have the created in one image to save on cost?
A. Certainly, you may order a single image of several individual
subjects. They can be illustrated separated from each other for use
in digital applications, websites or whatever else you may need them
for. This will save on the cost versus ordering several separate images.
An example can be seen in this
gallery.
If this is what you wish to do, just order a Group Caricature
matching the number of subjects you have and note in the instructions
during the order process that this is what you're looking for, otherwise
the subjects may be placed side by side, making it more difficult for
you to use the images separately.
Q. What if I know what style
of artwork I want but I don't see it offered on your site?
A. There are many media, styles and techniques that I am skilled
at, beyond what you will find here. If you have something else in mind,
it never hurts to contact me to see if I can provide a solution. Pricing
and sizes will vary depending on exactly what the request is, but I
will certainly do my best to help you out.
Q. Do you offer specials on group
caricatures in artwork styles other than colored pencil?
A. There will be discounts given on larger group caricatures
in any of the styles. Colored pencil is the most popular style, so I've
tried to make it quicker and easier for people to order those images.
Contact me for a price quote for a large group in any of the other styles.
Q. Can I suggest celebrities
to add caricatures of to your celebrity gallery?
A. I'm in the beginning stages of building the celebrity gallery
and am most interested in illustrating celebrities that people are most
interested in. I welcome you to give me ideas and suggestions for any
famous personalities you'd like to see in caricature or portrait form.
Once the art is completed, the original will be available for sale along
with limited edition prints.
Q. What kind of caricature would
you recommend to create for a logo for my business?
A. I would generally recommend having something created digitally
for this type of application. It's the easiest to reproduce and resize,
as well as to add to brochures, letterhead, business cards and other
related materials, while maintaining the highest possible image quality.
Q. Can I get a portrait of an
animal other than my pet?
A. Absolutely. If you're in love with tigers and want a painted
portrait of a tiger, that can be done too.
Q. What if I have trouble viewing
your website?
A. This website is best viewed in Internet Explorer at a screen
resolution of 1024x 768 pixels. If the website is displaying incorrectly,
anything is out of alignment, text is cut off or overlapping, you might
try viewing it in a different browser. Of you might try updating to
the most recent version of your current browser. The site should be
compatible with all common browsers, including slightly older versions.
Q. What if I have trouble with
the upload form?
A. If you have any difficulties in using the photo upload form,
feel free to email any reference materials and image descriptions directly
to me at caricaturemail@yahoo.com.
Q. What is the difference between
"portrait" and "landscape" format?
A. Portrait would be an image that is more vertical in orientation,
meaning that the height when looking at it is greater than the width.
Landscape would be the opposite, where the width is greater than the
height.
